the bread

Luke 22:19&20 "19 And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is My body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood, which is shed for you." This is the Last Supper, it is a happy occasion, everyone coming together. It is a sad occasion, this is their Last Supper together. It is a very stressful occasion, Jesus is being betrayed by one of His followers. It is at this table, in this crazy moment that the Sacrament of Holy Communion is instituted.  This is one of the main ways you and I Experience GOD. Holy Communion is a memorial of Christ already come! His death on the cross paid for all of our sins! The BREAD is Christ's body broken for us. The CUP, the wine, is Christ's blood shed for us. Nothing is more fulfilling and satisfying to our souls, than Christ's making atonement for our sins. We sometimes call it our blessed a...

the cup

Luke 22:16-18 "16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: 18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come." In our study of Experiencing GOD; we returned to the table of the Last Supper, in the Gospel of Luke, chapter twenty-two, words can't express the mix of emotions in this room. It is a happy occasion, everyone coming together. It is a sad occasion, this is their Last Supper together. It is a very stressful occasion, Jesus is being betrayed by one of His followers. It is at this table, in this crazy moment that the Sacrament of Holy Communion is instituted.  Today's verses; "For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselv...

desire squared

Luke 22:14&15 "14 And when the hour was come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. 15 And He said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:" We were read in the Book of Acts, chapter one, Jesus's last words to His Apostles right before He ascends to heaven. The Apostles were asking about the Jewish nation ruling itself again. Jesus answered; "it's not for you to know." AND, Jesus reminded them of other person of the Holy Trinity; "But ye shall receive power, after that the HOLY GHOST is come upon you..." After this they executed God's plan; traveling to towns and spreading God's Word! Even when greeted with violence and resistance. Sometimes ending up in prison and praising God and evangelizing from behind bars. Their service is inspiration to Christians everywhere, ever since! The time the Apostles spent learning from Jesus had to encourage them and drive them forward, even when the ...

everywhere

Acts 1:8&9 "8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight." The Apostles creed tells us about the Holy Ghost. Calls us, gathers us and gives us faith in Jesus. He gives us courage and inspires us to greatness. We must strive to do everything we can to honor and praise our GOD! In the Book of Acts, chapter one, this is Jesus's last words to His Apostles right before He ascends to heaven. The Apostles were asking about the Jewish nation ruling itself again. Or, perhaps some of them are asking about Jesus ruling from Jerusalem. We could see ourselves here asking our Lord and Savior about our own earthly plans or ideas. Jesus's answer applys to all of us; "it's not for you to know."...

not knowing

Acts 1:6&7 "6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of Him, saying, Lord, wilt Thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power." As we continue to study Experiencing GOD we dipped in Ecclesiastes where we understand that God intended us to come together in pairs always keeping GOD central in our relationships. "Two are BETTER than one;" And "a THREEFOLD cord is not quickly broken." Somehow this is a reflection of the heavenly reality of the Holy Trinity. God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Ghost; The Holy Trinity is the THREEFOLD cord that will NEVER break! The Apostles creed tells us about the Holy Ghost. Calls us, gathers us and gives us faith in Jesus. He gives us courage and inspires us to greatness. We must strive to do everything we can to honor and praise our GOD!  Today we turn back to the New Testam...

THREEFOLD

Ecclesiastes 4:11&12 "11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? 12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Looking for more great advice from GOD we have turned back to the Old Testament. The book of Ecclesiastes where we read; "Two are BETTER than one; because they have a good reward for their labour." It's true words and wise thinking. On the surface that seems to be all there is. Today's verses continue; "Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a THREEFOLD cord is not quickly broken." WAIT? We were talking about two. Where did three come from?  In relationships, marriage relationships especially, there needs to be three in the relationship. The wife, the husband and GOD. It takes three. And, in reality all our relationships need to include G...

2>1

Ecclesiastes 4:9&10 "9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up." We come from the Gospel of John were we read a crystal clear lesson from Jesus. Our Lord and Savior demonstrated how we are to serve; He got on His hands and knees and washed the dusty and tired feet of His friends. With a God like this how could we possibly withhold our belief and devotion? We must strive to do everything we can to honor and praise our GOD! Today we turn back to the Old Testament for MORE crystal clear lessons from Holy Scriptures. This time the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter four, verses nine and ten. To point out the obvious; to be able to wash another's feet, there needs to be another. "Two are BETTER than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow...

example

John 13:12-15 "12 So after He had washed their feet, and had taken His garments, and was set down again, He said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? 13 Ye call Me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you." Crystal clear, the meaning of this lesson is plain as day. Sometimes we might need to research and learn the meaning of verses in Holy Scripture. Sometimes people will say they don't understand God's Word. More likely people understand but they don't want to live out God's lessons for life. And, I sympathize with them, God's standards are high. We have to strive and we have to do things we might not want to do, like washing feet! This understanding and feeling is the true Experience of GOD! Jesus got on His hands and knees and washed the dusty and tired feet of H...

not all clean

John 13:9-11 "9 Simon Peter saith unto Him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. 11 For he knew who should betray Him; therefore said He, Ye are not all clean." We are Experiencing GOD in the pages of the Gospel of John, chapter thirteen, when Jesus has gathered together His Disciples for the feast of the passover. Jesus KNOWS He will soon be crucified. Our Lord and Savior, the Creator of the Universe, got on His hands and knees and washs the dusty and tired feet of His friends.  The Apostle Peter protested, this is NOT the way the world works. If anything, the students should be washing the Master's feet! Jesus was strong in His response to Peter. I perceive that there is a principle here; we need to let Jesus wash us. If we don't we will not be in His Kingdom for all eternity. We want to be washed by Jesus. We want to ...

never wash 🔥

John 13:6-8 "6 Then cometh He to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto Him, Lord, dost Thou wash my feet? 7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 8 Peter saith unto Him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with Me." We are studying Experiencing GOD. We have returned to the Gospel of John, chapter thirteen, when Jesus has gathered together His Disciples for the feast of the passover. Jesus KNOWS He will soon be crucified. He wants to prepare His followers for the tasks He has planned for them. The next few minutes are going to blow their minds but nothing compared to the next few days! Our Lord and Savior, the Creator of the Universe, wants to get on His hands and knees and washs the dusty and tired feet of His friends. This job was one that a servant or a slave would do. Jesus did this menial task. This was the Disciples Rabbi, Teacher, Master and Lord. Stripped down, o...

foot washing

John 13:4&5 "4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside His garments; and took a towel, and girded Himself. 5 After that He poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith He was girded." As we journey together through Lent, heading towards Easter, we are studying Experiencing GOD. From Paul's dramatic Damascus Road conversion to many of the Disciples calling on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Where Jesus asks "FOLLOW ME" and the Disciples dropped what they were doing to "FOLLOWED HIM." All of these followers under took an extreme lifestyle change. They had to follow Jesus day in and day out. They lived with Him. They learned from Him. FOLLOWING Jesus through all Galilee, as He TAUGHT in their synagogues, and PREACHED the gospel, and HEALED all manner of sickness for all kinds of people.  Today we return to the Gospel of John, chapter thirteen, when Jesus has gathered together His Disc...

teaching, preaching & healing

Matthew 4:21-23 "21 And going on from thence, He saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them. 22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed Him. 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people." The Apostle Paul's redemption story is testimony that NO ONE is beyond the saving grace of our Lord and Savior. We most likely won't have the Damascus Road experience, but God comes to us in sermons, Holy Communion, Hymns and song lyrics and much more. God can reach out to us through our conversations with others, parents, friends, and acquaintances. They might bring us words from God inspired to nudge us onto the RIGHT path.  Hopefully, God's outreach to us will not be as dramatic and traumatic as Paul's. Po...

Matthew 4:18-20 "18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19 And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed Him." We are learning that a sinner WORTH saving. We want to see them through God's eyes. As we studied; GOD called Saul who was hunting Christians. The Apostles and the rest of the Jesus followers FEARED him. God sent poor Ananias to give Saul his sight back. Of course Saul becomes The Apostle Paul, who was the most prolific writer of the New Testament, and his travels took him all over the Mediterranean. His background was of Jewish descent, and yet he was a Roman citizen. The story of Paul is a story of redemption in Jesus Christ and a testimony that NO ONE is beyond the saving grace of the Lord.  Paul's story is unique and it's typical of how God chases after us ...

no one is beyond GRACE!

Acts 9:16-19 "16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for My name's sake. 17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. 19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus." GOD called Saul who the Apostles and the rest of the Jesus followers FEARED because he was hunting Christians. When on his way to Damascus Jesus stopped Saul in his tracks, blinded him by light and made to cower on the ground. Saul fears the worst. Jesus gives him directions to go into nearby Damascus. He was blind and had to be lead by the hand. There he sat for three days...

who's authority

Acts 9:10-15 "13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to Thy saints at Jerusalem: 14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on Thy name. 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto Me, to bear My name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:" GOD called Saul who the Apostles and the rest of the Jesus followers DID NOT LIKE! They had VERY good reasons to not like him. Saul was hunting Christians. When on his way to Damascus to hunt down men and women who are Christians and arrest them and haul them back to Jerusalem, Jesus stopped Saul in his tracks, blinded by light and cowering on the ground. He knows what he would do to someone trying to destroy his mission. Saul fears the worst. Jesus gives him directions to go into nearby Damascus. He was blind and had to be lead by the hand. There he sat for three days not eating or drinking. No sight, wo...

helpless

Acts 9:3-9 "3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:" We are studying the event of GOD calling Saul who the Apostles and the rest of the Jesus followers DID NOT LIKE! They had VERY good reasons to not like him. Saul was hunting Christians. He was there when Stephen was martyred. He may have done even worse. At this time Saul is on his way to Damascus to hunt down men and women who are Christians and arrest them and haul them back to Jerusalem. It's not something we like to think about; God pursues those we don't like. God offers His Grace and Mercy to those who are hard to love; the mean and destructive people. The arms of God's grace reaches all sinners. Even enemies of the church. Like SAUL. Today's verses,...

threatenings

Acts 9:1&2 "1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem." We have been in the Book of Acts studying some apocalyptic verses that are eerie and ominous. And, some prophetic words that are encouraging; "WHOSOEVER shall call on the name of the Lord SHALL be SAVED." Encourages us to call on our Savior Jesus Christ to save us! Before the end of the world or before the end of you. Which ever comes first. Today we stay in the Book of Acts to study the event of GOD calling someone who the Disciples and the rest of the Jesus followers DID NOT LIKE! They had VERY good reasons to not like Saul. This man was hunting Christians. He was there when Stephen was martyred. He may have done even worse. As today's verses open he is looking ...

whosoever shall be saved

Acts 2:20-21 "20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." These words in the Book of Acts can be a little frightening. Especially when we contemplate their apocalyptic meaning. From yesterday's verse; "...signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:" This sounds eerie and ominous. We want to limit the interpretation and yet God persists in being UNLIMITED. We try to define God and He defies all our explanations! The fact that GOD would become incarnate and allow Himself to sacrificed for His creation offends our sensibilities. When Jesus walked among people picking the people to continue His mission and everyone He picked was a flunky; hurts our pride.  Now, in these last days we witness these prophetic words from Acts coming true; without distinction of sex, age, or rank-...

unlimited

Acts 2:17-19 "17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:" We have studied Jesus calling His Disciples to follow Him. They were flunkies who did not make it to Rabbinical school. But, Jesus sent the Holy Ghost to inspire them and fill them with what was needed for the situation they faced. Bringing them together in One True FAITH.  Today's verses are prophesies of the end times; "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon ALL FLESH: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, a...

gifts

Acts 2:2-4 "2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus said to them, "FOLLOW ME...And they straightway left their nets, and FOLLOWED HIM." They were doing a job others avoided. Jesus sought these people who others would call flunkies. Jesus called these fishermen who never made the cut as a Rabbi; Torah school would teach students the first five books of the Bible. By memory, successful students would be able to recite the five books from memory! But, that was NOT Jesus's Disciples. Jesus qualified those that He called. Selected them to continue His most important work! And, in today's verses "And suddenly there came a sound F...

called

Matthew 4:22-23 "21 And going on from thence, He saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them. 22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed Him. 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people." We have returned turn to the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus said to them, "FOLLOW ME...And they straightway left their nets, and FOLLOWED HIM." These men were fishermen by default. This was a job that HAD to be done. Often a dirty job, that required working late at night and very early in the morning. NOT a dream job by any means. They were doing a job others avoided. Jesus sought these people who others would call flunkies. They would have been the last ones picked to be on normal teams. Here the Creator of the Universe...

follow Him

Matthew 4:18-20 "18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19 And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed Him." We were in the book of Psalms getting faithful and encouraging words about people's Experience of God. We also encountered the question; "WHO ARE WE, that GOD should care about us?" Why has GOD done so much for us? Why has He given us such beauty and comfort in His creation? Why did He give His only Son to die for OUR sins? GOD expects some things from us too! He has given us stewardship over His creation! We have the responsibility to take care of and improve the areas and things we are given. Also, we are to praise and glorify GOD! With ALL of this in mind, we turn to the Gospel of Matthew, chapter four, verse eighteen, where GOD is incarnate; "And Jes...

stewardship

Psalms 8:6-9 "6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: 7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; 8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. 9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth!" The book of Psalms is filled with faithful and encouraging words about people's Experience of God. Also, sublime and AWE inspiring discriptions of creation teaching us that GOD'S knowledge has no boundaries! Also in the Psalms we learn more about Jesus; He was there at the beginning, the Alpha, and "the Word" that binds it all together.  And, yesterday the Psalms raised the question; "WHO ARE WE, that GOD should care about us?" We are sinful and our minds polluted and perverted. We are insignificant and our lives are quickly over having never amounted to much. Why has GOD done so much for us? Why has He given us s...

who are we?

Psalms 8:3-5 "3 When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou visitest him? 5 For Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour." In the book of Psalms, in the Old Testament, we read faithful and encouraging words about people's Experience of God hundreds of years before the events recorded in the New Testament! The Psalmist said that GOD seeks and saves the sinners and rejects. Also; GOD KNOWS the stars and the planets from the beginning to the end! GOD'S knowledge has no boundaries! And, from the BREATH of God all the stars are created.  As sublime and AWE inspiring as creation is; it is even more incomprehensible that God sent His only Son to save you and me. Jesus was there at the beginning, the Alpha, and "the Word" that binds it all together. He supplies the rain, makes the ...

stand in AWE

Psalms 33:6-8 "6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. 7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: He layeth up the depth in storehouses. 8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him." We have returned to the book of Psalms, in the Old Testament, to read faithful and encouraging words about our Experience of God hundreds of years before the events recorded in the New Testament! Even back then the Psalmist said that GOD seeks and saves the sinners and rejects. Glimpses of the Gospel message!  Yesterday's verses taught that GOD KNOWS stars and planetsfrom the beginning to the end! GOD'S knowledge has no boundaries! He is the creator of all things. It is His plan that is unfolding in our world today. It is all by His design. In due time we will witness GOD'S justice unfold. The wicked will be punished and the MEEK will be exalted.  We continue fo...

meek

Psalms 147:4-6 "4 He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names. 5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite. 6 The LORD lifteth up the meek: He casteth the wicked down to the ground." The Gospel is a GREAT encouragement and touch stone for all of us with FAITH. While we read verses from the "New" Testament, we need to recognize that this sentiment from GOD is NOT NEW! Hundreds and hundreds of years before this writers of the Psalms sang GOD'S praises in these verses; praise is suitable, the sinners and rejects are who Jesus seeks and saves! "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." Jesus SAVES!!! The Gospel is throughout the "Old" Testament! Today's verses; "He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names." We seek to discover stars and planets, GOD knows them from the beginning to the end! "Great is our Lord, and of great power...

Gospel of the Old Testament

Psalms 147:1-3 "1 Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. 2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: He gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. 3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." We were studying the writing of John, the Apostle who Jesus loved. His writing demonstrates that he was an eyewitness to the events in the gospel and he was one of the inner circle. In the book of Revelation, John features GOD'S grand judgment on the sinfulness of humanity. It also shows the promise and hope for the faithful in Jesus Christ. Still, it was the Holy Trinity that gave us the ability to do what is good and right in our lives OR to do otherwise. God sees the dire situations we create for ourselves and wants to help. This compassion, this LOVE motivated Jesus to do what He did and save us! "...whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (From the most famo...

everlasting life

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." We are studying the writing of John the disciple whom Jesus loved. The second-century Christian Irenaeus, said that John was the disciple who laid his head on Jesus at the last supper. John's writing demonstrates that he was an eyewitness to the events in the gospel and he was probably one of the inner circle of three disciples; James, John, and Peter. In John's other major writing, the book of Revelation, featuring GOD'S grand judgment on the sinfulness of humanity. It also shows the promise and hope for the faithful in Jesus Christ. But, it's here in the Gospel that we read the crystal clear message; GOD'S plan is for people to be saved! And, God doesn't save GOOD people, He saves SINNERS. We are not perfect, Only Jesus was perfect. He was sacrificed as the unblemished Lamb. We do not deserve this. ...

good sinners

John 3:17 "For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." We just studied verses from the book of Revelation. In there we see the clearest picture of GOD'S grand judgment on the sinfulness of humanity. It also shows the promise and hope for the faithful in Jesus Christ. The beginning and the ending Jesus is there through it all. All we know is this earth, we even think of it as home BUT, it's the next world that is our home. One we can only imagine, there will be no more fear or pain. We will be celebrating there with God Almighty! Today we continue with John's writing, this verse from his Gospel, the third chapter, verse seventeen; "For God sent NOT His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be SAVED." GOD'S plan is for people to be saved! And, God doesn't save GOOD people, He saves SINNERS. We are not perfect, Only Jesus was perfect. He was sac...

the beginning and the ending

Revelations 1:7&8 "7 Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." While the book of Revelation provides the clearest picture of GOD'S grand judgment on the sinfulness of humanity. It also shows the promise and hope for the faithful in Jesus Christ. All creation will return to goodness and beauty; God has the final victory! We need to read the book of Revelation. We want to understand what is being taught and we need to hold fast to GOD'S teaching.  As stated in yesterday's verses; GLORY to Jesus who LOVED, WASHED and MADE us! All the good we can do is to the credit of our Lord and Savior! Today's verses are the golden crown on those beautiful promises; "Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall ...
