Acts 2:17-19
"17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:"

We have studied Jesus calling His Disciples to follow Him. They were flunkies who did not make it to Rabbinical school. But, Jesus sent the Holy Ghost to inspire them and fill them with what was needed for the situation they faced. Bringing them together in One True FAITH. 

Today's verses are prophesies of the end times; "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon ALL FLESH: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" without distinction of sex, age, or rank GOD chosen people will manifest the gifts from the Holy Ghost! "And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and THEY SHALL PROPHESY: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:" people throughout the ages have had difficulty in interpreting these verses. We want to limit the interpretation and yet God persists on being unlimited. We try to define God and He defies all our explanations!

God’s patience

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God did not immediately punish King Solomon when he allowed his foreign wives to build altars for false gods. Despite multiple compromises, God remained patient. Over time, Solomon’s endorsement of idolatry defied God’s covenant, leading to divine judgment, including the loss of the kingdom for his son. Some mistake God’s patience for indifference or inaction, but He follows His plan in His timing. If our nation, culture, church, or we ourselves stray like Solomon, we can repent and return to God’s path. And, should do so sooner than later! Amen!
