Ecclesiastes 4:9&10
"9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up."
We come from the Gospel of John were we read a crystal clear lesson from Jesus. Our Lord and Savior demonstrated how we are to serve; He got on His hands and knees and washed the dusty and tired feet of His friends. With a God like this how could we possibly withhold our belief and devotion? We must strive to do everything we can to honor and praise our GOD!
Today we turn back to the Old Testament for MORE crystal clear lessons from Holy Scriptures. This time the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter four, verses nine and ten. To point out the obvious; to be able to wash another's feet, there needs to be another. "Two are BETTER than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up."
GOD is asking us to do as He does. Yes, we believe in One God. Our God is a Holy Trinity; Father, Son and Holy Ghost. This is essentially important because our God loves. One cannot love if they are alone. If God was not a Holy Trinity He could not love. Because God is the Holy Trinity there has always been love between Them!
