Acts 2:20-21
"20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
These words in the Book of Acts can be a little frightening. Especially when we contemplate their apocalyptic meaning. From yesterday's verse; "...signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:" This sounds eerie and ominous. We want to limit the interpretation and yet God persists in being UNLIMITED. We try to define God and He defies all our explanations! The fact that GOD would become incarnate and allow Himself to sacrificed for His creation offends our sensibilities. When Jesus walked among people picking the people to continue His mission and everyone He picked was a flunky; hurts our pride.
Now, in these last days we witness these prophetic words from Acts coming true; without distinction of sex, age, or rank- GOD'S chosen people will manifest the gifts from the Holy Ghost! People throughout the ages have had difficulty in interpreting these verses. The picture painted is sublime end of the world as we know it. Out of this destruction will come our Salvation! Today's verses; "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that WHOSOEVER shall call on the name of the Lord SHALL be SAVED." Call on our Savior Jesus Christ to save you! Do it now before it's too late! Before the end of the world or before the end of you. Which ever comes first. 🙏🌍✝️
