everyone is unhappy

Numbers 11:7-10 7 And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium. 8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil. 9 And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it. 10 Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased. We are studying the The Far Reaching Arm of God. God's arm reaches further than we expect and His blessings are more gracious and abundant than we give Him credit for. We are in the forth book of the Old Testament; the book of Numbers. This is the time when the Israelites have escaped slavery in Egypt and are wandering through the desert. Day after day they are eating manna. For every meal they are eating manna. And, they are sick and tired of manna!...

nothing but manna

Numbers 11:4-6 4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? 5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: 6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes. Last week we studied how GOD GAVE victory to Gideon and his troops. They entered into a hopeless situation. The odds were 450 to 1 against them. There is NO rational explanation for how and why they prevailed; yet they did! God does it ALL. It's God's plan and God's world. God's will will be done. One way or another.  With GOD Less is More! This week we will study the The Far Reaching Arm of God. We like to think that we know what GOD will and won't do. And, we are never happy with the results. Yet, God's arm reaches further than we expect and His blessings are more gracious ...

hot pursuit!

Judges 7:22&23 22 And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath. 23 And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites. The CHASE is on!!! The Midianite army fled in terror!! AND, the Israelites are in hot pursuit! GOD GAVE victory to Gideon and his troops. They entered into a hopeless situation. The odds were 450 to 1 against them. There is NO rational explanation for how and why they prevailed; yet they did! If you think you did it yourself your wrong. God does it ALL. It's God's plan and God's world. Knowing this you can share the air. Give space for others to talk. Speak less, listen more. Value others' input. Rely on others more. AND, rely on GOD for everything. God's will will be done. One w...

WILD PANIC!

Judges 7:19-21 19 So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands. 20 And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. 21 And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled. SURPRISE!!! "The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon!!!" Gideon and his soldiers infiltrated the vast camp of their enemy at night. Gideon and his men were for all intents and purposes defenseless. They would have been wearing little armor, they MAY have carried sheilds and possibly a sword on their thigh. Their PRIORITY was to carry the torch with the pitcher over it and their trumpets. Their mission was to b...

execute the plan

Judges 7:12-18 12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude. 13 And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along. 14 And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host. 15 And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian. 16 And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a tr...

crazy!

Judges 7:7-11 7 And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place. 8 So the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley. 9 And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Arise, get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine hand. 10 But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host: 11 And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host. With GOD Less is More! "By the THREE HUNDRED men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand:" GOD has LO...

try

Judges 7:4-6 4 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go. 5 So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. 6 And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. With GOD Less is More!  Jewish tradition says the prophet Samuel was the author of the Old Testament book of Judges. The book accounts for the history of Israel before they had a king. The judges did not oversee only legal matters also military and po...

too many

Judges 7:2&3 2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against Me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me. 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand." With GOD Less is More! Too often you and I see God's plan the same way the Apostle Peter did. And, in our ignorance and out of our hubris we question GOD? CHRIST demands self denial which is patterned after His own sacrifice, in becoming man emptied Himself and came to walk among His creation and be crucified for all people of all time. This should inspire us to be like John the Baptizer and very publicly and very loudly say; "He must INCREASE, but I must DECREASE."  Today we turn to the Old Testament book of Judg...

more, MUCH MORE...

John 3:30 "He must increase, but I must decrease." Today our study transitions from questioning GOD to understanding that with GOD Less is More! We have looked into the verses where the Apostle Peter tried to REBUKE Jesus after He shared GOD'S plan with His closest students. Too often you and I see God's plan the same way Peter did. And, in our ignorance and out of our hubris we question GOD? Jesus's rebuttal was to say; "If any man will come after Me, let him DENY himself, and take up his CROSS, and FOLLOW Me." We think we understand these verses and the meaning being we need to prevent ourselves from receiving pleasure or profit. This is NOT the meaning found in the original GREEK version. There we read a more explicit meaning where all our natural motives and impulses that come into CONFLICT with the claims of CHRIST are denied. This self denial commanded here is patterned after the Son of God, in becoming man emptied Himself and came to walk among Hi...

DENY yourself

Matthew 16:24&25 "24 Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it." Peter tried to REBUKE Jesus after He shared GOD'S plan with His Disciples. Jesus was forceful in his reply to Peter. Peter's concerns for Jesus were expressed in the form of a temptation for our Messiah. The mere suggestion that could have the crown without the cross. Maybe He could be like the kings of the world and not have to follow the plan His Father in heaven has set for Him. How often do you and I see God's plan the same way Peter does? And, in our ignorance and out of our hubris we question GOD? We need to HEAR Jesus's answer in today's verses; "Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him DENY himself, and take up his CROSS, and FOLLOW Me. For whosoever ...

question GOD

Matthew 16:22&23 "22 Then Peter took Him, and began to rebuke Him, saying, Be it far from Thee, Lord: this shall not be unto Thee. 23 But He turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind Me, Satan: thou art an offence unto Me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men." Peter answered Jesus's question with great insight given to him from God. Jesus's blessings to Peter and the people who will become the church was generous and beyond what we commonly recognize. Jesus went on to instruct His disciples that they should TELL NO MAN that He was the Christ. And, Jesus was open and honest about God's plan and what was about to happen. BUT, His Disciples are in denial, they don't want to believe Jesus will die and they don't understand the Resurrection. Mere moments after his GREAT answer, Peter opens his mouth again and reveals just how little he really comprehends. Today's verses; "Then Peter took Him, and began to R...

tell no man

Matthew 16:20&21 "20 Then charged He His disciples that they should tell no man that He was Jesus the Christ. 21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto His disciples, how that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day." Peter had answered Jesus's question with great insight given to him from God. This knowledge that Peter shared was a momentous occasion. This is Jesus's FIRST use of the word "Church" or in the original Greek; "Ecclesia." Which means “assembly” or “congregation.” Our English word seems to always conjure up the vision of a building. When Jesus spoke it was about the people. Jesus's blessings to Peter and the people who will become the church did not stop there. The KEYS to the KINGDOM were metaphorical. The next phrase is NOT symbolic. The authority of binding and loosing, given to Peter, and afterward on all the apost...

Keys to the Kingdom

Matthew 16:19 "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Jesus asked His Disciples "Who do YOU think I Am?" Peter answered "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." This lowly fishermen PROVIDES the authoritative answer no one else had! And, Jesus's praised Peter's answer; "...for FLESH and BLOOD hath NOT revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven." The Jewish people hoped for the Messiah to have some of splendor and power to defeat the occupying Romans. This man, Jesus, standing with His Disciples showed no indications of being flashy, spectacular or even a threat to Rome. In SPITE of this, Peter somehow understood that his teacher and friend was the Messiah! This was "revealed" to Peter. He knew something that was unknown to others. This knowledge that Pe...

flesh and blood

Matthew 16:17&18 "17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Never Underestimate GOD.   We are in the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus asked His Disciples "Who do 'other people' say I am?" They thought Jesus was the reincarnation of one of the GREAT prophets! John the Baptizer. Elijah. Jeremiah. Or,  another prophet. Then Jesus asked His Disciples "Who YOU think I Am?" Peter answered "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." The rules of the day, Scribes and Pharisees were all perplexed and unable to adequately answer this question. Now, an lowly fishermen PROVIDES the authoritative answer! In today's verses we read Jesus's praise for Peter's answer; "And Jesu...

the lowly fishermen

Matthew 16:15&16 "15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." We want to avoid Underestimating GOD at all costs. It's very presumptuous of us to make any judgment on the things GOD does. We cannot comprehend the ways of GOD. Jesus Christ Himself being the chief CORNER STONE. Somehow this creation of GOD'S is His HOME. GOD'S house is your heart. Make room in your heart ❤️ for GOD. Yesterday we began studying in the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus takes His Disciples OUTSIDE Israel to Caesarea Philippi. Jesus asks His Disciples "Who do THEY say I am?" This verse gives us great insight on the impressions people had at the time. They thought Jesus was the reincarnation of one of the GREAT prophets! John the Baptizer. Elijah. Jeremiah. Or,  another prophet. In today's verses Jesus asks His Disciples who they think He is; "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou ...

who Am I?

Matthew 16:13&14 "13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets." Last week we studied how GOD made the world, laid the foundation, put the cornerstone in place. We realize that we have no reason and no grounds to question GOD. Today we return to the Gospel of Matthew. To the time Jesus takes His Disciples to Caesarea Philippi, a place OUTSIDE Israel. There they worshiped the God of the dead, Pan. They believed that if one went down into the spring; upstream you would reach hades. It's here t...

home

Ephesians 2:20-22 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. We have studied this week how GOD laid the foundation of the world. And, made the corner stone of the earth. Only we can't know for sure because we were not there! We read the verses from Job and realize that we have no reason and no grounds to question GOD. It's very presumptuous of us to make any judgment on the things GOD does. We cannot comprehend the ways of GOD.  GOD did not stop with just making the earth. GOD makes His church and He makes the world we will live in after this one. Today's verses are talking about GOD'S temple, the church that is made up of His believers. It's the gathering of His believers that is His church.  "And are built upon t...

corner stone

Job 38:6&7 "6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" We were not there. Job was not there. After the foundation the corner stone is the next most important part of the architecture. Two or more walls are fastened together creating stability for a building. And, "When the morning stars sang together," was angelic beings that unite in a chorus of praise when another world was added to their number. We can't know for sure because we were not there! We read these verses from Job and realize that we have no reason and no grounds to question GOD. It's very presumptuous of us to make any judgment on the things GOD does. We cannot comprehend the ways of GOD.  We would like to keep things simple. "He's God and you're not." Why is it so complicated? It should be universal and consistent. BUT it's not because things ...

the blueprint

Job 38:5 "Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?" Job is being challenged by the Creator of the Universe. This is a picture of you and me when we question GOD! And, the tables turn and GOD questions you and me! Yesterday; "WHERE wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?" Job was not there when the world was created. None of us were there. Only GOD was there. It's very presumptuous of us to make any judgment on the things GOD does. We cannot comprehend the ways of GOD.  Today's verse, the question from GOD; "Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?" To communicate with us GOD is talking about the earth as if it were a building. One that had a blueprint and had everything measured and laid out beforehand. GOD'S the architect who set the dimensions of the earth, how long, how thick, and how broad it should be. Job, you and me, we can...

where were you?

Job 38:4 "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding." Picture this; the emaciated and barley alive Job being challenged by the Creator of the Universe. It would be comical if it were not so convicting. This is after all a picture of you and me when we question GOD! In our study verses GOD has told Job to get ready for action. GOD says "I will demand of thee, and answer thou Me." And, the questions begin in today's verse; "WHERE wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, IF thou hast understanding." Job was not there when the world was created. None of us were there. Only GOD was there. Job did not help GOD with creation and honesty we don't understand how GOD made everything. It's very presumptuous of us to make any judgment on the things GOD does. We cannot comprehend the ways of GOD. It's hard for us to accept but it's how GOD made us.

answer Me

Job 38:3 "Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou Me." We have turned to the book of Job to learn more about GOD and understand Him better. In this chapter Job is seeking GOD'S counsel. At this point Job has lost everything; his family, his wealth, his friends, his health and everything. Job's friends say GOD doesn't do this to people unless they have done something wrong. Job says no, he has done nothing wrong.  Out of the "whirlwind" of extreme losses that Job experienced, he comes to a greater understanding of GOD. GOD asks; "Who are you?" At this point Job would not even recognize himself; he is in the worst condition of his life, feeble and literally dying. Job is not ready to take on anything at all, much less this encounter with our Creator. Job is seeking GOD'S "counsel" from the depths of his suffering, the pit of his suffering. GOD starts by pointing out that Job is coming from a plac...

taken

Job 38:1&2 "1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?" We are created in God's image but can we understand Him??? In yesterday's verse from Isaiah God said that even if He told us, we wouldn't understand. God's wisdom and perspective has NO boundaries. God has NO limitations. We are grounded in our time and place. We are limited by our own self interest. We struggle to see much, if anything beyond our own perspective. Case in point; Job. This is a timeless story about GOD and a man, Job. Everything is TAKEN AWAY from Job. His family, his wealth, his friends, his health and everything. Job's friends say GOD doesn't do this to people unless they have done something wrong. Job says no, he has done nothing wrong. We think this way today. We think if we are good and moral that nothing bad will happen to us. But, if we pay attention we will see that tragedy strikes everyo...

you wouldn't understand

Isaiah 55:8&9 "8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." This past week we studied the event where Jesus REBUKED the storm and the wind and waves OBEYED Him!!! In that moment the Disciples experienced Jesus's Omnipotence, Omniscience and Omnipresence. While He was standing with them. Each one of us gets to come to the same conclusion in our own time. Once we do, the challenges we face will be to OBEY HIM. This week we will dive into GOD'S ways and try to understand our Creator and Savior. We are created in God's image but can we understand Him??? Today's verses tells us we are going to be challenged to understand GOD. "For My thoughts are NOT your thoughts, NEITHER are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher THAN your ways,...

Your Challenge...

Luke 8:25+ "And He said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for He commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey Him." The Disciples had seen Jesus perform miracles and they had heard Him claim to be GOD. They should have know that they were sailing with GOD, and there was no way they were in jeopardy. What they might not have believed before was driven home to them this afternoon. They witnessed their teacher, their friend stand up and command the wind and waves to stop; and they OBEYED!!!  Coming off the sheer terror the storm provided, now, the Disciples experience a new type of fear. This man that teaches them, guides them, and is friends with them... He is GOD! Omnipotent. Omniscient. Omnipresent. And, He is standing here, right beside you! And, unbeknownst to the Disciples, they will go on to witnessing this God crucified, buried and RETURN from death! These experiences will inspire them...

OBEYED!

Luke 8:25 "And He said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for He commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey Him." We love to claim the preceeding verses as our own. We are on the ship with Jesus and the Disciples. Jesus calms the storms in our lives! Even REBUKING the storm!! And, this is very comforting. Don't let me take this away from you. "CALM." No more wind. No more crashing waves. No more danger. After the "CALM" we read the whole point of this event in today's verse. "And He said unto them, WHERE is YOUR faith? And they being AFRAID wondered, saying one to another, WHAT MANNER of MAN is THIS! for He commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey Him." We might draw the conclusion that Jesus REBUKED the Disciples too; "WHERE is YOUR faith?" The Disciples had seen Jesus perform miracles and they had heard Him claim to be GOD. They s...

CALM

Luke 8:24 "And they came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Master, Master, we perish. Then He arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm." What was a very pleasant afternoon, sailing with Jesus, has turned into a horrifying tragedy as the wind blows, the waves begin to crash! The tumultuous water begins to sink the ship! Even the experienced fishermen sailing this boat are scared! Many are certain they are about to DIE!!! Today's verse; "And they came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Master, Master, we perish. Then He arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and THEY CEASED, and there was a CALM."  The Disciples were desperate. It's remarkable that anyone could sleep through this life threatening event. And, more amazing still, Jesus reprimanded the weather. He sharply criticized the wind and water. And, get this; it OBEYED! Whatever He said the result was "CALM." No more wind. No more ...

JEOPARDY

Luke 8:23 "But as they sailed He fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy." Try to imagine how it would be to go sailing with Jesus. It was just a normal day that turned into some good times. It started as a very idealic event. Picture the sunshine, cool breezes, birds singing and the sound of gentle waves and water lapping on the shore and the side of the boat. We're on the Western shoreline and Jesus asks to go to the Eastern shore of the sea of Galilee. In today's verse we set sail with the Disciples and Jesus; "But as they sailed He fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy." Storms on the sea of Galilee were not uncommon. The contrasting temperature from the hot and sunny lake and shore to the nearby cold mountains causes wind to sweeps from the narrow mountain valleys to the sea. This can cause the smooth ...

Sailing with Jesus

Luke 8:22 "Now it came to pass on a certain day, that He went into a ship with His disciples: and He said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth." Today we return to the Gospel of Luke. We want to hold on to our reading from yesterday and our previous studies; our help is from God. God wants us to be encouraged and wants to help us avoid mischief. Never, ever underestimate the Power of God. God sees everything. Our own heart often desires wrong things. We have to check our own ideas against the Word of God and make sure we are following God's will. As we read from Proverbs; "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean NOT unto thine OWN understanding."  In today's verse we join the Disciples with Jesus on the shore of lake Gennesaret, or the sea of Galilee. Jesus was teaching and is ready to take a break. It was likely a beautiful day and the idea of sailing on the sea was very appealing. Picture the sunshine,...

Never Underestimate

Psalms 121:2&3 "2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber." Your help is from God. That's right, the Creator of the universe is helping you! God wants you to be encouraged and wants to help you avoid mischief. God will not overlook or neglect any thing which is necessary for your well being. Never, ever underestimate the Power of God. God sees everything. We see only our own circumstances and can respond in limited ways.  Our own heart often desires wrong things. We have to check our own ideas against the Word of God and make sure we are following God's will. As we read from Proverbs yesterday; "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean NOT unto thine OWN understanding ."

Not Your Own...

Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." Last week we studied ways to TITHE our TIME. Jesus taught; "SEEK ye FIRST the KINGDOM of God," We all to often get caught up worrying about tomorrow and worrying about yesterday. When today is really the only TIME we can change.  A technique I have adopted when I find myself thinking about the future OR the past; that is my que to get out the Holy Scriptures and begin reading and studying. That's when it's time to make GOD the priority in your life. This little change will transform your life! If you are not inspired to turn to a specific part of Holy Scriptures you can ALWAYS open up Proverbs. This book of wisdom written some thrre thousand years ago, still teach principles for living that are indispensable and relevant today! Today's verse is an inspiration and guide to us; "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean NOT unto thine OWN understan...

Today...

Matthew 6:34 "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." Focus on today. Make your NOW better. Take care of tomorrow when it gets here. These are the words of our Lord and Savior. We all to often get caught up worrying about tomorrow and worrying about yesterday. When today is really the only time we can change.  A technique I have adopted is when I find myself thinking about the future OR the past; that is my que to get out the Holy Scriptures and begin reading and studying. That's when it's time to make GOD the priority in your life. We get caught up pursuing other interests. And, that's not good. We need to learn from our Biblical teachers and from Jesus; "SEEK ye FIRST the KINGDOM of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Our lives will look different from the lives of the nonbelievers around us. They don't ...
