New CREATURE

2 Corenthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Jesus's YOKE is your FAITH in Him. Put it on. We are not attaching ourselves to Jesus. He doesn't become our personal assistant. He is our Savior and He is the creator of the universe! Jesus became the permanent and perfect High Priest, going beyond all other priests by offering Himself as a sinless sacrifice on behalf of ALL people!!! Jew and Gentiles!! As it was prophesied since the beginning of time! Jesus is better than the Pharisees with their 613 laws for everyone to follow. All of us that are sorrowful and burdened with more than we can handle need to look to Jesus for help. Our Lord and Savior has infinite sympathy for people of all classes and conditions. He is True God and still of the people, He will listen to your sorrows and tribulations. He wants to help you. You need only open your heart and mind to His preaching and tea...

Our Creator & Our Savior

John 1:3&4 "3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men." Yesterday we read the first verses of the book of Hebrews. In it the priestly ministry of Christ in the life of the believer is emphasized. Through Jesus people can approach the Father in heaven. The priesthood of Jesus is superior to the Old Testament priesthood of Aaron, because only through Jesus do we receive eternal salvation. AND! He is T...

Permanent and Perfect High Priest

Hebrews 1:1&2 "1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;"   Jesus's YOKE. "My yoke is easy, and My burden is light." Jesus is offering TRUE rest. All of you that are sorrowful and burdened with more than you can handle. Our Lord and Savior has infinite sympathy for people of all classes and conditions. He is True God and still of the people, He will listen to your sorrows and tribulations. He was tortured and died on the cross for you. He wants to help you. You need only open your heart and mind to His preaching and teaching.  Today's verses we turn to the first verses of the book of Hebrews. A book written to the Jewish people by one of the earliest Christians. The priestly ministry of Christ in the life of the believer is emphasized. Through Jesus people can app...

Jesus's YOKE

Matthew 11:29&30 "29 Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light." Jesus's YOKE. YOKE is a wooden bar or frame by which two draft animals (such as OXEN) are joined at the heads or necks for working together on the farm. YOKED oxen can be used to pull out tree trunks, move boulders, pull logs, to plow fields, or pull a loaded cart. The yoke is often used in the Bible to express the symbolism of having two that are similar in capacity so that they can both work together.  But; "My yoke is easy, and My burden is light." Jesus is offering TRUE rest. All of you that are sorrowful and burdened with more than you can handle. People make laws and rules we have to follow. And we ourselves are driven and motivated to do something. We might be ambitious, addicted, workaholic, or some other way of making your own mini- empire. We YOKE ourselves to the thi...

Your YOKE

Matthew 11:27&28 "27 All things are delivered unto Me of My Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him. 28 Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Yesterday we started with Jesus's TRUTH  BOMB; are you wise and prudent? Then you cannot understand the Holy Bible! Do you approach the Scriptures like a baby? Do you come to the sermon or the Bible study to learn? Are you open to the teaching of our Lord and Savior? Or, do you have it all figured out??? Have you heard it all before??  In today's verses, ALL THINGS were given to Jesus. Not Satan and not anyone else... "All things are delivered unto Me of My Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him." We can't really understand Jesus or God the Father. We are bl...

Are You Ready to Follow???

Matthew 11:25&26 "25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in Thy sight." Last week we studied how Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah came for everyone and not just the Jews. We read these actions demonstrated this beautifully. Then in the Gospel of John where JESUS calls us to come into His light and His goodness. We do not need to hide in the darkness. We do not need to do bad things to get ahead. We can do what is right and good in the sight of GOD and we will be called His children. We will be His Cosen people! You and me; Chosen by GOD! And, then, in the Gospel of Luke, Jesus reads the riot act to the Pharisees! They said people had to follow the Laws, ALL OF THEM. All 613 of them, to the letter. When The Law is practiced this way it is NOT practiced out of love. Many p...

Beasts of BURDEN

Luke 11:46 "And He said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers." We are coming from studying the Greek woman who had FAITH asking our Lord and Savior to heal her daughter! She allowed herself to be compared to a dog begging for scraps from the Master's table. She was rewarded with the healing of her daughter. Her FAITH in Jesus saved her too! Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah came for everyone and not just the Jews. We read these actions demonstrated this beautifully. Then we read in the Gospel of John where JESUS calls us to come into His light and His goodness. We do not need to hide in the darkness. We do not need to do bad things to get ahead. We can do what is right and good in the sight of GOD and we will be called His children. We will be His Cosen people! You and me; Chosen by GOD! It's really mind-boggling and EVEN better than that! Today's verse,...

See Jesus

John 12:44-46 44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on Me, believeth not on Me, but on Him that sent Me. 45 And he that seeth Me seeth Him that sent Me. 46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on Me should not abide in darkness. We have studied the Greek woman who had FAITH in our Lord and Savior to see her daughter HEALED!!! She FELL at HIS FEET and begged Jesus to cast out the demon that has possessed her daughter. Jesus said "Not yet." This mother would not take "No." for an answer. She has FAITH in Jesus! This is an embarrassment to all the proud Pharisees and disbelieving Jews! Her FAITH was rewarded! This nameless Gentile woman expressed GREAT ingenuity and FAITH! We can strive to live her example and persistently live out our FAITH. Don't let anyone hold us back from our mission. Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah came for everyone and not just the Jews. Here we read the actions of Jesus demonstrate this beautifully. Today we tu...

the devil is gone

Mark 7:29&30 "29 And He said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. 30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed." Hallelujah!!! This Greek woman who has FAITH in our Lord and Savior see her daughter HEALED!!! Jesus had left His country and has traveled to what is present day Lebanon. Desperate to get help for her daughter she FELL at HIS FEET and begged Jesus to cast out the demon that has possessed her daughter.  Jesus said "Not yet." This mother would not take "No." for an answer. She has FAITH in Jesus! This is an embarrassment to all the proud Pharisees and disbelieving Jews! Call her a DOG and she BARKS. She just needs a little crumb. It's not much to ask of the MESSIAH. She is not asking for a place at the table, she just wants a dropping from the Master's full table! One crumb of power and grace from Thy table shall cast the devil out of my ...

Artwork; Beast and Beauty

Here is my second piece of artwork in a couple of decades. Distractions and struggles over the years and just couldn't and didn't do art for far TOO LONG.  I am using the Samsung Z Fold 3, a great phone that is cutting edge technology. A featured program, an art tools called Clip Studio Paint. A program that is comparable to Photoshop, which I used back in the 1990's! Back then I used a big desktop computer, monitor, scanner and more. Now, it's all in the palm of my hand in a phone! It's mind blowing! My first work was titled "AFTER SIN" and is a vision of Jesus coming after the sin that is in your life. For this second work I wanted to stay with Biblical inspiration. So, for my subject I turned to a favorite event of mine in the book of Judges. Chapter fourteen, verses five and six, "a young lion roared against him." The Judge Samson is confronted by a LION! This was a wild cat that was a man eater! Powerful and strong, the claws and fangs of th...

Dog BARKS

Mark 7:27&28 "27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. 28 And she answered and said unto Him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs." We are in the Gospel of Mark, chapter seven. Jesus is making some distance between Him and the religious leaders that are giving Him trouble. Jesus Has left His country and has traveled to what is present day Lebanon. Even in this foreign country the people have heard of Jesus. He will not get to unwind or rest because there are people NEEDING His help! This GREEK woman is desperate to get help for her daughter. She FELL at HIS FEET and begged Jesus to cast out the demon that has possessed her daughter.  In today's verses Jesus says "Not yet." Or, more precisely; that mercy and healing for the Gentiles was not far off. "But Jesus said unto her, Let the children FIRST be filled: for it ...

At His Feet

Mark 7:24-26 "24 And from thence He arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but He could not be hid. 25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of Him, and came and fell at His feet: 26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought Him that He would cast forth the devil out of her daughter." This week we are studying dogs in the Holy Scriptures. Coming from the book of Isaiah where we read that not only are the Jewish people chosen but "others" will be also gathereth!!! The ultimate value of a DOG is his BARK! We want DOGS that BARK; we want a DOG that is active and lives a spirit of instruction and warns us of trouble and sin that is near us. We want a DOG to protect us and keep us from mistakes. We don't want a DOG that sleeps and lies around NOT benefiting his master. Today we go from reading prophecy to reading fulfillment! We turn to the...

warning others...

Isaiah 56:11&12 "11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. 12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant." We are dipping into the prophecies from the book of Isaiah to get a Biblical prospective on DOGS. Isaiah's insight is wonderful; he is saying that not only are the Jewish people chosen but "others" will be also gathereth!!! Today's verses highlight the great importance of watchdogs and shepherds; "Yea, they...

BARK!!!

Isaiah 56:8-10 "8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him. 9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. 10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber." We are coming from the study of Peter and the many blessings GOD provided to him and through him. It's more than a little wondrous that GOD is not widely sighted as man's best friend. God is there on the shore waiting for you and working to heal you from your PTSD and anything else that is ailing you!  As we segue from the message about the Apostle Peter to a message about DOGS; we are dipping into a few verses from the prophet Isaiah to answer what is the value of a DOG. Isaiah's insight is wonderful; he is saying that not only are the Jewish people chosen but "others" will be also gathereth!!! ...

Where No One wants to go...

John 21:16-18 "16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me? Peter was grieved because He said unto him the third time, Lovest thou Me? And he said unto Him, Lord, Thou knowest all things; Thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not." This is a beautiful moment! With our modern eyes we can see something very clinical transpires here; Peter's failure and Jesus' crucifixion had caused Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in Peter. Now, this morning meeting on the seashore around the coal fire, surroun...

Feed My Lambs

John 21:13-15 "13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. 14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed Himself to His disciples, after that He was risen from the dead. 15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me more than these? He saith unto Him, Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee. He saith unto him, Feed My lambs." GOD will meet you on the shore. Just like this loving picture of Jesus and His Disciples. The campfire going. The smell of fresh fish cooking. The toasted bread there by the fire. The cool morning breeze. The conversation and laughter from the men. All creation and everything comes together at this shoreline campfire get together.  The contagious excitement and fun reunion is all how our good and gracious GOD blesses His followers!!! This is the third time Jeses brings them together after His resurrection, and this time He has to set something straight. The leader of the Disc...

God will meet you on the shore...

John 21:10-12 "10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. 11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. 12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask Him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord." They all KNEW it was Jesus. If you know someone; you know them. This has to be the greatest reunion ever! The friends being together on the shore. The campfire going. The smell of fresh fish cooking. The toasted bread there by the fire. The cool morning breeze. The conversation and laughter from the men. All compliments of GOD. Blessings in the little things that mean SO MUCH! It's ALL GOD! The fire. The meal. The HUGE catch. Them being here together. All they learned from Jesus in the last three years. Their salvation. Our salvation. All creation and everything comes together at this shoreline campfire ...

the little things that mean SO MUCH

John 21:7-9 "7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. 8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. 9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread." Appreciate how rich this scene is... The Disciples were at a loss for what to do next. So, many of them went back to what they knew best; FISHING! They fished ALL NIGHT LONG and caught NOTHING. They feel defeated. The sun is rising, the sky is getting lighter. The sound of waves against the boat and lapping onto the shoreline rocks. This is a very familiar situation for the Disciples.  These men in their boat took the stranger's advice and "Cast the net on the right side of the ship, ...

God's abundance

John 21:4-6 "4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. 5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered Him, No. 6 And He said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes." God lifts us always as "...with wings as EAGLES;" And we should always praise and celebrate our LORD! We return to the Gospel of John where we join events AFTER Easter morning. The Disciples were at a loss for what to do next. So, many of them went back to what they knew best; FISHING! They fished ALL NIGHT LONG and caught NOTHING. They feel defeated; the Messiah has come and gone and now they can't even fish! They know how to fish! This was their livelihood!!! Why can't they catch fish tonight??? Jesus has other plans for them, today's verses; "But when the morning was now co...

No Fish Today!

John 21:1-3 "1 After these things Jesus shewed Himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed He Himself. 2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of His disciples. 3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing." We are coming from Isaiah where Christians are soaring "...with wings as EAGLES;" And, from another Old Testament prophet; Habakkuk! He encouraged Isreal to remain faithful and true to the one true GOD! Telling everyone they are about to experience some tough times, "YET I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength..." HABAKKUK is foretelling of some of the gravest events people have to face and here he is praising and celebrating our LORD! We ne...

be Habakkuk...

Habakkuk 3:17-19 17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments." As Christians we get to soar like a majestic EAGLE! We will raise to the challenge! We shall overcome!!! "...mount up with wings as EAGLES;" Yesterday we completed our reading in Isaiah with the idea of GOD lifting us on the wings of EAGLES!!! That inspiring picture comes right after we were reminded that we are like grasshoppers trying to understand humans. GOD rules the world and knows better about all our affairs than we do ourselves. We need to strive for a humility.  A...

wings as EAGLES!!!

Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Humans trying to understand GOD is like grasshoppers trying to understand humans. GOD rules the world and knows better about all our affairs than we do ourselves. Our transcendent GOD helps us! God gives power and strength. We can trust in GOD and look to Him for the aid we need! Even in our youth and at our most vigorous we become weary and exhausted. Not GOD! God is inexhaustible. God is forever young. God is forever strong! "BUT they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as EAGLES; they shall run, and NOT be weary; and they shall walk, and NOT faint." The words 'wait upon' mean to wait, in the sense of expecting. Meaning to wait for GOD'S help, or to trust in Him. In other words to put our hope and confidence in Him.  ...

God is forever strong!

Isaiah 40:29&30 "29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:" GOD wants you and me to look upward, and consider all the evidences of the power and wisdom of GOD! Compared to GOD we are merely grasshoppers. We can find ourselves jealous of GOD. His infinite power, and wisdom, and goodness! We might ask "Does GOD even notice my prayers, my tears, my sufferings?" When we are ungrateful and complaining we are ignorant. Grasshoppers like you and me cannot understand GOD. He rules the world and knows better about all our affairs than we do ourselves. We do no good by second guessing the ways of our infinitely wise God! AND! Check out today's verses; "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength." This transcendent GOD of ours helps us! God gives power and strength. We can trust in GOD and lo...

jealous of GOD?

Isaiah 40:27&28 "27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding." GOD is transcendent. And! He says "Lift up YOUR EYES on high, and behold..." GOD wants you and me to look upward, and consider all the evidences of the power and wisdom of GOD! God gives us enough light to be able to find Him. And, God gives enough darkness for us to miss Him if that's what we want.  Nonetheless, we are jealous of GOD. His infinite power, and wisdom, and goodness! Where are they demonstrated in my life? Does GOD even notice my prayers, my tears, my sufferings? Other people abuse me, God has neglected my cause! This is what today's verse is saying; "Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My...

GOD has no equal.

Isaiah 40:25&26 "25 To whom then will ye liken Me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold Who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth." We are in Isaiah chapter forty making our way to what is one Isaiah's most famous verse of ALL! So far Isaiah asked sarcastic questions to idolaters, which he answers; knowing the object of their worship is FAKE. Next, Isaiah confirms that God is sovereign of the entire earth and to GOD the inhabitants of earth are like grasshoppers! Then he explains what happens to our rulers and kings; their wealth, their dignity, and their influence by GOD'S hand is reduced to nothing. Our leaders and rulers are no better than the rest of us. We are all like grasshoppers and time will take us away just as it took the cultures that came before us. All that we know will b...

the whirlwind

Isaiah 40:23&24 "23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; He maketh the judges of the earth as vanity. 24 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble." This week we continue to study Isaiah chapter forty making our way to what is one Isaiah's most famous verse of ALL! Yesterday we read Isaiah's sarcastic questions to idolaters, which he answers. All idolaters know the object of their worship is FAKE. They are given abundant opportunity to learn of GOD's existence and becoming acquainted with His majesty and glory. Next, Isaiah confirms that God is sovereign of the entire earth and to GOD the inhabitants of earth are like grasshoppers - as insects- a busy, agirated, moving, impatient multitude, spread over the vast circle of the earth. Nonetheless, GOD makes us comfortable in this world ou...

really?

Isaiah 40:21&22 "21 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:" Oh, Isaiah! The prophet's prophet.  As we read yesterday, Isaiah is frequently quoted by the other authors of the Holy Scriptures, like all four of the Gospel writers. Writers throughout the ages quote Isaiah. And, more contemporary Dr. Martin Luther King Jr quoted Isaiah in his most famous speech, titled, “I Have a Dream.” This week we will continue to study Isaiah chapter forty making our way to what is Isaiah's most famous verse of ALL! For today's verses; "Have ye NOT known? have ye NOT heard? hath it NOT been told you from the beginning? have ye NOT understood from the foundations of the earth?...

quotable

Isaiah 40:3-5 3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: 5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Isaiah's prophecy is some of the most accurate and celebrated in getting the person and work of Jesus Christ correct! Isaiah was looking forward in history to an event that would take place. You and I get to look back through history and see all the good that has resulted from the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior!  Because Isaiah is so very good it is often quoted. Verse three from chapter forty refers to the great John the Baptizer. He was the "voice calling in the wilderness". This is made clear by Matthew who interprets this verse for us (Matt...

Serve the Children...

Genesis 1:1&2 "1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." Why? Why did God create this universe and our world? Was God lonely? God is a Trinity and had love between the three parts. Loneliness doesn't seem right. Did God have an artistic bent that just needed expression? Creation does have a beautiful quality to it. Bravo! For the pleasing appearance of all creation. BUT, What if God's character is one of being a SERVANT?  GOD is there for Adam and Eve. God is indulgent to the founding fathers of our faith. From the very beginning we see GOD'S actions are by design to send His only begotten Son to SAVE the world! Even as GOD is giving words to His prophets, like yesterday's verse from Isaiah; "...My righteous SERVANT..." Isaiah's prophecy is some of the most accurate and celebrated in ...

oh! Isaiah...

Isaiah 53:11 "He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities."  Oh, Isaiah! He prophesied from 739–681 BC to a nation that had turned a deaf ear to the Lord. He was married to a prophetess and they had at least two sons. Isaiah prophesied under the reign of four kings and he likely met his death under a fifth, the evil King Manasseh. Isaiah is believed to be one of the prophets whose death is described in Hebrews 11:37, specifically the prophet who was “sawn in two.” His prophecy is sealed with his own blood. His prophecy is some of the most accurate and celebrated in getting the person and work of Jesus Christ correct! Here in today's verse Isaiah nails it; "He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall my righteous SERVANT justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities." He died for our sins! Only Isaiah is ...
