God's blanket

Philippians 4:6&7
"6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Christianity is demanding.
We are "image bearer of the Creator." as is every person we encounter. Our actions should reflect very favorably on GOD. AND! God gives us FREEDOM to follow Him or do otherwise! 

AND! God is helping is every step of the way. Like a loving parent keeping a warm blanket over a sleeping toddler. As described in today's Lenten devotional, written by Mandy. She offers the BEST advice, "Place your fears and tears in His palm and He will make a balm of peace for your soul."

Acts 2:7&8 "7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?" The Holy Ghost is the only way this happens. They were very surprised to be hundreds and, some cases, thousands of miles from "home" and hearing their language spoken! It was astonishing! Appreciate that these devout Jewish people whose families had been carried away from Israel generations before. Taken in captivity by armies that invaded and conquered Israel. (A little like Joseph was taken captive to Egypt. All by God's plan to save the Israelites during a time of famine.)
