Mark 5:7&8
"7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with Thee, Jesus, Thou Son of the most high God? I adjure Thee by God, that Thou torment me not.
8 For He said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit."
The DEMON possessed man knelt down and touched the ground with his forehead in sign of his submission and reverence to Jesus. From today's verses we gain the insight that it's the demon begging for mercy. Jesus's presence has the evil spirit worked up.
We have to recognize that we see people in our world today with a fascination for the morbid, and mentally, they live in the graveyard. Self-harm is like an epidemic and people refuse any kind of help and assistance offered them. These are all tragic situations. Like Jesus and His Disciples, we may need to go out of our way to help. Each and every soul is priceless to our Lord and Savior.
