1 John 4:10&11
"10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another."
The Ultimate Epiphany is Jesus's death and resurrection! It is the event that changes everything! As we study Epiphany events, like the part of history that Moses lived, it is foreshadowing of the life and work of Jesus Christ saving everyone from sin, death and the clutches of the Devil. The more we study the Holy Bible, the more we see Jesus in literally every nook and cranny.
We can only come to the conclusion we read in today's verses; "Herein is love, NOT that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to LOVE ONE ANOTHER." This is Jesus's Great Commandment for all of us. And, a challenge for us all to live up to. It just might be impossible for many of us, but we will become better people if we seriously try. Just try.
