Matthew 24:41&42
"41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."
We don't know when Jesus will RETURN.
Jesus's return will be similar to the Great Flood, it was sudden and unexpected. People were not prepared for it even though they were warned about it. The only ones saved were the few in the ark.
Jesus used the example of two working in the field. Our Lord and Savior will suddenly appear to the world. We will be at work and will stop working as we recognize our LORD Is present. This will be the day of judgment to the whole world!
Jesus gave another example in today's verses; "Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be TAKEN, and the other left." This was common work, everyone knew about it and most had done it at one point or another. It was very familiar. What is different is one is TAKEN. We understand this to be Christ's judgment; the separation of the sheep from the goats, the believers from the unbelievers.
As Jesus continues He delivers a warning; "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." On the day of Christ's return we will face judgment or mercy. We need to be prepared to meet Him. We need to watch for Him.
We need to be READY.
