The LORD IS MY KEEPER

Psalm 121:5 & 6
"5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night."

We have turned to the book of Psalms to chapter one hundred and twenty-one. 
God came down from Heaven to help us all!!! 
GOD does NOT sleep.
AND!!! Today's verses; "The LORD IS THY KEEPER: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night." GOD KEEPS us!!! GOD protects us!!! 

And, we need it! God doesn't need sleep but we do. We can try to burn the candle at both ends. We can race through life ASLEEP at the wheel. When we need help; Jesus will take the wheel. Comforting to know,  The Word made flesh. God Incarnate. We have reassurance. Like a night light, or a fan running as we sleep. We need things like this to comfort us as we sleep. We can know all is well thanks to Jesus. We need to be loyal and faithful. Jesus has faced the storms of life. He is God. We need to have faith and belive. Because of Jesus we can sleep in heavenly peace.

God’s patience

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God did not immediately punish King Solomon when he allowed his foreign wives to build altars for false gods. Despite multiple compromises, God remained patient. Over time, Solomon’s endorsement of idolatry defied God’s covenant, leading to divine judgment, including the loss of the kingdom for his son. Some mistake God’s patience for indifference or inaction, but He follows His plan in His timing. If our nation, culture, church, or we ourselves stray like Solomon, we can repent and return to God’s path. And, should do so sooner than later! Amen!
