Luke 1:44 & 45
"44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord."
Mary went through considerable stress in her family and hometown and gets away to the "hill country" to stay with a cousin for rest and relaxation. The home she visits is Zacharias and his wife's. They too are pregnant. Their baby will grow up to be John the Baptizer; the forerunner of the promised Messiah! Even as an unborn baby he is harolding Jesus arrival!
Elisabeth speaks from the inspiration from the Holy Ghost; "BLESSED art thou among women, and BLESSED is the fruit of thy womb." Elisabeth knows this is an honor to be visited by Mary and the unborn Jesus. She proclaimed it loudly. Recognizing that Mary is "BLESSED" and clearly understanding that this unborn Jesus is her LORD and SAVIOR!!!
Today's verses, Elisabeth continues proclaiming; "For, lo, AS SOON AS the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe LEAPED in my womb FOR JOY. And BLESSED is she that BELIEVED: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord."
What makes you jump for joy?
What will you loudly proclaim?
Everyone in these events believes.
How about you?
