"THE SAME HOUR!"

John 4:53 & 54
"53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
54 This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee."

"THE SAME HOUR!"
The nobleman figured out that the moment Jesus told him his son was healed; his son was healed! There was about twenty miles between them and the son. This proved that distance means nothing to the Son of God. Jesus can heal people far away as well as close up. This event not only convinced the nobleman who Jesus was, also "his whole house." What a HUGE event in the life of this family. This changes them forever! They all became WITNESSES to FAITH, they would go on to share their story and the Good News of Jesus! It would have been hard, it could have cost them their reputation, position, and more.

Their FAITH JOURNEY is accelerated! They will feel indebted and closer to GOD more than ever... Where are you in your Faith Journey? A witness? Confirmed? Trusting and obedient? Persistent? Or, just beginning? Have you stepped out on twenty mile hike just to find Jesus?

God’s patience

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God did not immediately punish King Solomon when he allowed his foreign wives to build altars for false gods. Despite multiple compromises, God remained patient. Over time, Solomon’s endorsement of idolatry defied God’s covenant, leading to divine judgment, including the loss of the kingdom for his son. Some mistake God’s patience for indifference or inaction, but He follows His plan in His timing. If our nation, culture, church, or we ourselves stray like Solomon, we can repent and return to God’s path. And, should do so sooner than later! Amen!
