2 Corinthians 9:13
"Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;"
We are studying Stewardship. Which leads us to giving. Which brings us to CHARITY. Don't think of CHARITY as merely a financial transaction. It can be actions that are needed by others. Acts of CHARITY can be powerful demonstrations of our faith and obedience to the Gospel. The goal is for our generosity to elicit gratitude and glorification of God from those who receive our assistance. This way, acts of kindness can spread beyond individual recipients to affect an entire family and the community beyond.
God's generosity is a pattern for us to follow. By reflecting the sacrifice of Christ, our acts of kindness become a testament to the vitality of our faith. Hopefully, the response to our generosity will be reciprocal; reinforcing community bonds in Christ. When believers love and support one another, it fosters an environment of unity and strengthens the testimony of the church.
