Romans 11:36
"For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to Whom be glory for ever. Amen."
"ALL THINGS."
Paul placed no limits or exceptions on this statement. He says that EVERYTHING comes from God, through God, and is directed to God, and that all glory belongs to GOD forever.
In the previous verses, Paul clearly established that God's thoughts and ways are beyond human comprehension. And, God is not indebted to anyone and operates freely in His will and grace.
Following Jesus may involve going where we do not want to go and requires surrendering our will to God's purpose. In hardship and sacrifice, there is always an opportunity to glorify God! Jesus invites us to FOLLOW HIM. Like Peter and Paul, we need to follow our Lord and Savior no matter what.
