Acts 2:46
"And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,"
We can read that the early church culture was marked by UNITY, communal fellowship, and joy in the Holy Ghost. The communal fellowship was important to their faith practices. This lifestyle not only strengthened their bonds with each other but also was favorably noticed by those around them. Their joy and togetherness was outstanding!
They maintained their connection with the Jewish temple, which was significant as their faith was seen as a FULFILLMENT of Judaism rather than a deviation from it. The Disciples, first Church members and Jewish pilgrims turned Christians have all had their senses and minds overloaded! They were also blessed with miracles and signs. That served to verify the message of the New Testament apostles and confirm their authority to write Scripture.
