Ecclesiastes 3:5&6
"5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;"
These verses were written almost three thousand years ago! The world was a MUCH different place. And, in many ways, it was much the same as it is today. Around one hundred generations have come and gone. And, God has been here every step of the way. Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Solomon very adeptly illustrates that life is marked by alternating periods of activity and inactivity, joy and sorrow, and that each has its place and time. This perspective underscores the idea that life is ordered and that everything has its seasons, suggesting that we should accept and embrace the natural flow of life’s events.
God has provided and will continue to provide. God has brought us together for a time and a purpose. Things change. Transitions happen. God remains the same. Work together to be who God called you to be.
