every knee

Philippians 2:9
"9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;"

"MIGHT makes right." Is the way of the world. We see and experience power struggles all around us, all the time. Even in our enlightened modern world, fear and intimidation are widely used. We are taught this at an early age and are socialized to accept it and adapt to it. 

BUT, this is NOT GOD'S plan. 
His plan was to become incarnate and walk with people. To serve people. He sacrificed Himself for you and me. This work was not beneath Him. GOD chose to do this.

In this letter, Paul's Holy Ghost-inspired writing tells us to put others’ interests ahead of our own. Paul tells us to live from a spirit of selflessness, compassion, and unity, reflecting the character of Christ and His love for humanity. A love that is truly "MIGHTY!"

This sacrificial love is highly valued by GOD. As noted in today's verses. "Wherefore God also hath highly EXALTED Him, and given Him a name which is ABOVE every name: That at the name of Jesus EVERY knee should BOW, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" Is your knees included in "EVERY knee?" Whose name is above "EVERY name?" JESUS!

Acts 2:7&8 "7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?" The Holy Ghost is the only way this happens. They were very surprised to be hundreds and, some cases, thousands of miles from "home" and hearing their language spoken! It was astonishing! Appreciate that these devout Jewish people whose families had been carried away from Israel generations before. Taken in captivity by armies that invaded and conquered Israel.
