John 10:23&24
"23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day."

We are rewinding the event where Martha confronted Jesus when He shows up four days after the death of His friend, her brother, Lazarus. In today's verses, Jesus tells her Lazarus will come back to life! She mistook that for the here after. "I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day." As their conversation moved forward, Jesus asked Martha "DO YOU BELIEVE THIS?" And, she answered "Yea, Lord: I believe that Thou art the Christ, the Son of God..."

In this interaction we witness Martha affirming her FAITH in Jesus. Jesus has conquered sin and death. Martha, Mary and everyone present are about to witness a mind-blowing miracle! Please don't misunderstand what I am saying. It's not Martha's FAITH that brings her brother back. It is the omnipotent power of the Son of God that brings Lazarus back to life. Martha and everyone is blessed to witness this miracle! God does this! God does it all!

God’s patience

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God did not immediately punish King Solomon when he allowed his foreign wives to build altars for false gods. Despite multiple compromises, God remained patient. Over time, Solomon’s endorsement of idolatry defied God’s covenant, leading to divine judgment, including the loss of the kingdom for his son. Some mistake God’s patience for indifference or inaction, but He follows His plan in His timing. If our nation, culture, church, or we ourselves stray like Solomon, we can repent and return to God’s path. And, should do so sooner than later! Amen!
