Psalms 3:7&8
"7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for Thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; Thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: Thy blessing is upon Thy people. Selah."
King David was out numbered and feeling all alone and desperate, here in chapter three of the book of Psalms. David is running from his son Absalom, who had rebelled against him. Really imagine David’s distress and despair in the face of his numerous enemies and even his own son.
David turned to GOD, showing us the pattern. Get the fear and complaints out and then shift to hope in God! Have faith that God will provide. Faith doesn't end danger or attacks, but God will shield you. Lift your head up, don't be downcast or downtrodden. Even in the most troubling of times, rest in the comfort of GOD.
God is helping you every step of the way. "Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for Thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; Thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: Thy blessing is upon Thy people. Selah." If it's not good, then God is not done. When Jesus hung on the cross, He was in agony and literally dying. Pain in the extreme. Loss and separation are on display for all to see. It's at that moment that GOD and man are reunited. On the cross, something we don't fully understand but God knows. God's blessings will be on His people. God's blessed assurance.
