Mark 8:22
"And He cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto Him, and besought Him to touch him."
We are studying the questions that Jesus asked. Last week we read about the woman caught in adultery and Jesus asking her "Where are your accusers?" It's worth paying attention to the fact that Jesus doesn't ask questions because He doesn't know anything. Jesus isn't hoping to learn from the answer. A lot of the time, Jesus asks questions as a way for the hearers to notice something or understand a larger lesson.
Today we turn to the Gospel of Mark. Jesus and His Disciples arrived in Bethsaida. It's a small fishing village located on the northeastern shore of the Sea of Galilee. This was the hometown of three of Jesus’ disciples: Peter, Andrew, and Philip. As they are arriving here, people bring forward a blind man pleading with Jesus to heal him.
