back to normal

Matthew 17:7&8
"7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only."

Back to "normal."
Back to what the three Disciples were familiar with. But, note; Jesus brought His Disciples up to the mountain top to show them who He REALLY was! Jesus radiating light, Moses & Elijah showing up by His side, the voice of GOD ringing from the Heavens. All theses "supernatural" things are the revelation of how things TRULY ARE!!! Now, back to "normal" is the deception, the world cloaked in a way that is less frightening to you and me. 

Our challenge as Christians is live in this cloaked world with a twinkle in our eyes, knowing it's the supernatural that is the REAL world. We know that it is GOD'S Laws that are of ultimate importance and GOD'S Son that saves us all. Jesus says; "be not afraid." He saves us and asks us to follow Him. It's such a beautiful thing. I hope and pray you are following Jesus with me.

God’s patience

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God did not immediately punish King Solomon when he allowed his foreign wives to build altars for false gods. Despite multiple compromises, God remained patient. Over time, Solomon’s endorsement of idolatry defied God’s covenant, leading to divine judgment, including the loss of the kingdom for his son. Some mistake God’s patience for indifference or inaction, but He follows His plan in His timing. If our nation, culture, church, or we ourselves stray like Solomon, we can repent and return to God’s path. And, should do so sooner than later! Amen!
