Acts 18:28
"For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ."

To this day Jewish people doubt Jesus was Christ, the Messiah. The one prophesied about in the Old Testament. Apollos went into synagogues and publicly spoke to Jewish people showing them where the prophecies pointed to Jesus of Nazareth. His reasoning was so strong, his arguments so weighty and powerful, and the passages he produced out of the Old Testament so full and pertinent, that the Jews were not able to disagree with him! 

All thanks to the training Apollos received from Priscilla and Aquila. Through the GRACE of GOD, they were in Ephesus at the same time as Apollos. They helped him with the technical subjects Paul had written about. Doctrines of salvation by grace, and justification by faith, and the gift of the Spirit, and union with Christ through baptism and the Supper of the Lord. Priscilla and Aquila's time with Paul had prepared them to prepare Apollos.

We are not privy to all that Apollos did. We do know he ends up in Corinth and is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 1:12. Some scholars even theorize that Apollos was the writer of the Book of Hebrews! He was trained in rhetoric and was a great expositor of the scriptures. His style of writing is more classical in style and matches that of the author of Hebrews.
Christians make other Christians better. Amen.

Acts 2:7&8 "7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?" The Holy Ghost is the only way this happens. They were very surprised to be hundreds and, some cases, thousands of miles from "home" and hearing their language spoken! It was astonishing!
