John 20:14&15
"14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing Him to be the gardener, saith unto Him, Sir, if thou have borne Him hence, tell me where thou hast laid Him, and I will take Him away."
Mary Magdalene held a fearless loyalty to our Lord and Savior. Mary stayed at the tomb. She is anxious to find Jesus's body. She is in agony with grief. Her mind is foggy. The pain and loss she is feeling is great. And, now on top of that His body has disappeared?
She looks into the tomb and talks with two angels. These Angels KNOW she has no reason to weep! Mary seems to not notice she is talking with Angels. She is singularly focused on finding Jesus. She will not be satisfied until she finds Him.
In today's verses she doesn't recognize Jesus; "And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, WHY WEEPEST thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing Him to be the gardener, saith unto Him, Sir, if thou have borne Him hence, tell me where thou hast laid Him, and I will take Him away." When things seem to be at their worst we can all lose sight of Jesus. Judgement gets clouded. Our perception gets out of whack. We need to take a breath, collect our thoughts and focus on our Lord and Savior. He is right there with us. Always.
