one body, one church

1 Corinthians 12:12-14
"12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many."

Women of the Holy Bible are VERY impressive! Mary Magdalene is mentioned thirteen times. Johanna is mentioned two times. Suzanna is mentioned once. And "MANY OTHERS" are nameless and faceless Christian women who "...ministered unto Him of their substance." These blessed saintly women supported Jesus and the Disciples! These women made Christ's ministry possible!
We are all indebted to these women!

They found a way to contribute GOD'S plan! They did what needed to be done for the CHURCH. The church that is the body of Christ we are familiar with from First Corinthians, chapter twelve, today's verses; "For as the body is ONE, and hath many members, and ALL the members of that ONE body, being many, are ONE body: so also is CHRIST. For by ONE Spirit are we all baptized into ONE body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not ONE member, BUT MANY." WOMEN and men, we are all part of the ONE BODY, the one church that praises and worships the ONE true Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Luke 1:51-53 "51 He hath shewed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. 53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away." This is Mary's Magnificat. Beginning with verse forty-six Mary's responds to Elizabeth’s blessing is EPIC! In this poem Mary praises GOD for His blessing to her and His faithfulness to Israel.  Mary's Magnificat also highlights a series of reversals in which the proud are humbled and the humble are exalted! Which we read in today's verses; "He hath shewed STRENGTH with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
