Esther 4:6-8
"6 So Hatach went forth to Mordecai unto the street of the city, which was before the king's gate.
7 And Mordecai told him of all that had happened unto him, and of the sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them.
8 Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to shew it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people."

Esther went from being an orphan raised by her righteous cousin, Mordecai, to become the queen of Persia! The King, has passed a law that will cause all the Jewish people to be killed. This has Mordecai upset and causing a scene. This has Esther concerned for her cousin and worried the King and others will find out her secret; she is Jewish.

Esther can't go to Mordecai, so she sends her faithful servant Hatach to find out what has him so upset. Today's verses; "So Hatach went forth to Mordecai unto the street of the city, which was before the king's gate. And Mordecai told him of ALL that had happened unto him, and of the sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews, to DESTROY them. Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to DESTROY them, to shew it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that SHE SHOULD GO in UNTO the KING, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people." This is the "Esther, you're OUR ONLY HOPE," message. Mordecai gives all the gory details to Hatach.

Acts 2:7&8 "7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?" The Holy Ghost is the only way this happens. They were very surprised to be hundreds and, some cases, thousands of miles from "home" and hearing their language spoken! It was astonishing! Luke 1:51-53 "51 He hath shewed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. 53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away." This is Mary's Magnificat. Beginning with verse forty-six Mary's responds to Elizabeth’s blessing is EPIC! In this poem Mary praises GOD for His blessing to her and His faithfulness to Israel.  Mary's Magnificat also highlights a series of reversals in which the proud are humbled and the humble are exalted!
