knock and it shall be opened

Luke 11:9&10
"9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."

As we are studying GOD'S Covenants with people; this week we have focused on Jesus's promise to His followers to send the Holy Ghost! Early on Jesus promises to send the Holy Ghost. Then on the day of Pentecost, the Disciples were gathered together in a closed room a wind came and they were speaking other languages. Languages they had not learned by natural means. Languages that other people present could understand! It was an miraculous event, it blew people's minds! 

The Holy Ghost was their helper. The Holy Ghost is our helper, too. He gives us power from on high. The Holy Ghost breathes into our ears, minds. It's not about who we are It's about who Jesus is. Acceptance with God is based on who Jesus is. Jesus is our Lord and Savior!

Today we return to the Gospel of Luke to drive home the opportunity we have from our Lord and Savior. All we need to do is knock on GOD'S door, and it shall be opened to you! This is the door of mercy from God; the door of fellowship with Christ; the door of the Gospel. GOD wants you in heaven all we need to do seek and ask, today's verses; "And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." The words of Jesus Christ to His followers.

Elisha’s example

I will make you

Matthew 4:19&20 "19 And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed Him." In our "Follow Me" series, we study Jesus calling His disciples in the Gospel of Matthew. By the Sea of Galilee, a thriving fishing hub, Jesus saw Simon and Andrew casting nets as humble fishermen. His disciples were ordinary workers, not wealthy or educated elites. Jesus approached them and said, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." Remarkably, they immediately left their jobs to follow Him. This brief exchange conveys a profound truth: Jesus says, "I will make you." Only God can transform us to accomplish His purpose. We should often pray, "Help me, God," seeking Jesus' guidance to follow His plan for our lives.
