Hebrews 1:1&2
"1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;"

This week we read in the boom of Acts where the Disciples were miraculously given the ability to speak in foreign languages! No translation needed! GOD is doing all the work for them. Peter did stand up and preach. The others answered questions and help where they could. It was GOD who made everything possible! By the end they brought 3,000 people to FAITH in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. 

We begin to understand that encountering Jesus is encountering GOD! We DON'T need a sign or a wonder, we have Jesus! We have everything in Jesus! As today's verses drive home; "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days SPOKEN UNTO US by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;" JESUS is the Alpha and Omega, and we have His words recorded for us in the pages of Holy Scripture! This is a blessing beyond our appreciation; we can't quantify it, at best we can receive it, read it and say, "Praise the LORD!"

God’s patience

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God did not immediately punish King Solomon when he allowed his foreign wives to build altars for false gods. Despite multiple compromises, God remained patient. Over time, Solomon’s endorsement of idolatry defied God’s covenant, leading to divine judgment, including the loss of the kingdom for his son. Some mistake God’s patience for indifference or inaction, but He follows His plan in His timing. If our nation, culture, church, or we ourselves stray like Solomon, we can repent and return to God’s path. And, should do so sooner than later! Amen!
