Are we learning???

John 8:2
"And early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came unto Him; and He sat down, and taught them."

It is impossible to not Underestimate GOD. He is Omnipotent, Omniscience and Omnipresent! He is the Creator of All things. Even if one is blessed to be one of GOD'S GREATEST prophets, like Elijah, you will Underestimate GOD. When he thought he was the last true believer on planet earth; he was not! There were more than 7,000 that were still faithful! Even with Elijah's knowledge, insight and wisdom he did not understand all of God's plan. There is much more that God does than we can understand. It's okay to misunderstand God.

GOD is beyond our understanding. Just trying to wrap our mind around sending Your only Son to become the sacrifice for all the sins in the world; boggles our mind! Today we return to the Gospel of John to study a time when the Son of God sat amongst people and patiently taught them about Heavenly truths. "And early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came unto Him; and He sat down, and taught them." In the Temple, the house of GOD, Jesus is teaching. Are people learning???

God’s patience

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God did not immediately punish King Solomon when he allowed his foreign wives to build altars for false gods. Despite multiple compromises, God remained patient. Over time, Solomon’s endorsement of idolatry defied God’s covenant, leading to divine judgment, including the loss of the kingdom for his son. Some mistake God’s patience for indifference or inaction, but He follows His plan in His timing. If our nation, culture, church, or we ourselves stray like Solomon, we can repent and return to God’s path. And, should do so sooner than later! Amen!
