THIRST AGAIN!

John 4:12&13
"12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:"

You will "THIRST AGAIN."
For this woman it was husbands. She had many. For others it is work, they are workaholics. Others it's alcohol, they can't stop drinking. For some it's gossip, they have to know secrets about others. Some can't get enough food, they become gluttonous. Some escape their reality through drug use and become addicted. There are all kinds of ways to TRY to fill the VOID that's inside you. Whatever you use; You will "THIRST AGAIN."

Jesus is offer her a solution; "LIVING WATER!" She does not understand. She asked; "Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?" Jacob was the son of Issac. Jacob's name changed to Israel. His twelve sons that grow into the twelve tribes of Israel! The Jewish people!! And, others became the Samaritan tribes! She wants to understand and keeps talking to Jesus...

God’s patience

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God did not immediately punish King Solomon when he allowed his foreign wives to build altars for false gods. Despite multiple compromises, God remained patient. Over time, Solomon’s endorsement of idolatry defied God’s covenant, leading to divine judgment, including the loss of the kingdom for his son. Some mistake God’s patience for indifference or inaction, but He follows His plan in His timing. If our nation, culture, church, or we ourselves stray like Solomon, we can repent and return to God’s path. And, should do so sooner than later! Amen!

Elisha’s example
