Oh, Holy Night
"A thrill of hope, the weary soul rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn."
"Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!"
This week we studied; Fall On Your Knees.
It's not just a great lyric in this classic Christmas carol. It is the way we want to worship our Lord and Savior! Kneeling, bowing, lying facedown, bowing our heads, and lifting our hands. If the posture of our hearts is humility, awe and submission to GOD, our bodies will yearn to express that in physical ways. Making less of ourselves. Emptying ourself of our ego and focus on God and His Holiness. Filling ourselves with the grace of Jesus.
Less of us more of Him.
We are entering the holiday season, this is the time for us to give thanks to GOD and share our attitude of gratitude with our neighbors.
Fall Back to GOD!
Fall Into GOD'S Arms!
Fall On Our Knees!
Please join us in FALLING FOR GOD at one of the oldest Lutheran Churches in the region! It is beautiful! An old stone building with vibrant stained glass everywhere you look. And, ornately carved wood altar and flying pulpit! It is an amazing sight to behold. And, the people are VERY friendly and welcoming. The Pastor's are outstanding and outgoing. We look forward to seeing you in worship.
