Mark 10:13
"And they brought young children to Him, that He should touch them: and His disciples rebuked those that brought them."

This week make some changes in our daily devotions. Today is our debut on the Blogger platform. This location will make the posts easily accessible and shareable. If you find something worthwhile in these posts; please share it. Today we also begin a series titled "Children of the Heavenly Father." We will spend several weeks studying young people in the Holy Scriptures. 

Today, the first day of the first week we will focus on "A Child Like Faith." Here in the Gospel of Mark we will learn that Jesus doesn't draw a line between kids and adults. His message is for everyone. All ages!!!

Luke 1:51-53 "51 He hath shewed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. 53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away." This is Mary's Magnificat. Beginning with verse forty-six Mary's responds to Elizabeth’s blessing is EPIC! In this poem Mary praises GOD for His blessing to her and His faithfulness to Israel.  Mary's Magnificat also highlights a series of reversals in which the proud are humbled and the humble are exalted! Which we read in today's verses; "He hath shewed STRENGTH with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
